Our protagonists Jaat, Ankit, Chirag and Rupesh passed their examinations somehow and now reached their second year. This creates a shift in the dynamics they were hoping for – the fuss. As they still struggle with studies and love life, by the end of this semester these four friends find something even more valuable - a stronger friendship.

Performances?

The slacker Jhantoo figure from Nikhil Vijay gets deeper on the screen, and Nikhil does well to depict it on the screen. Three out of four guys (Jhantoo, Chirag and Rupesh) are actually getting much needed in this 4-episode season – and the challenge is well faced by their actors. This time the series manages to shift the focus from Ankit to all four characters and that dynamics change works better.

Analysis

Digital content designer TVF continues to give us an academic gold mine – but it is as realistic as the first season of 'Hostel Daze' or the American College TV series 'Blue Mountain State.' This means over-the-top, funny situations, which lead to comedy gold, which normally never happens in real life.

In contrast to the first season, there are only 4 episodes this season – which keeps the set compact and the script too late. And this series manages to some extent to do that. Of course the exaggerated characters and situations still occur, but they are more credible and nostalgic.

The four episodes are each thematically: Ragging, Bro-code/Sis-code, Hygiene (Or lack of hygiene) and Festivities. The rugging portions and the hygiene portions are similar to the first season – they are glorified too much; the bro-code/sis and vacation portions of the series are more realistic, with the last episode (the holiday portion of AKA) quite warming at heart. The girls get more time on the screen and more depth of character (with a limited time on the screen), Chirag learns to swear & grow away from his high school friends and Jhantoo is a better friend.

However, Swearing, Masturbation and Porn remain widely spoken about/represented throughout the series, which may be one of the few realistic parts of the TV series that is glorified unnecessarily similar to college rags. The show is still superficial and does not apologise for its disgrace – something which is true of a group of disoriented and horny college friends.

Overall, Hostel Daze's second season is a slightly improved first version. The TV series doesn't apologise for the rage and lack of hygiene – it's promoted disgracefully in the second season. This time, however, there are more realistic scenarios, with the main and side characters getting deeper. The fourth wall is still funny (in a dark humour sense).

Other artists? Other artists?

Ayushi Gupta and Ahsaas Channa are funny and will do more in this season (compared to the previous one). They shine during the few scenes and it's funny to see some of the situations in which they end up. The actors who portray characters who break the fourth wall are also quite funny.

Music and other ministries?

Vaibhav Bandhoo does good work this time as well as the composer. This time the writers did some better work with the dialogue and more trustworthy funny university situations. Amir Musanna and Sangram Naiksatam, the directors of the duo, have directed all four episodes together and manage to create a small magical image.

Storyline: \sDownload The storey of Ankit, Chirag, and Jaat, who joined a college hostel in the previous season, will be continued in Hostel Daze Season 2. They spent the entire first season getting along with the elders and attempting to establish themselves at the hostel. Simultaneously, falling in love for the first time and learning the Hostel's numerous customs. They may appreciate it at times, but not all of the time. With our major protagonists passing their semesters, the play came to a close on a high note.

As a result, Hostel Daze Season 2 will focus on their lives as seniors. Hostel Daze's official trailer mentions four years of Hostel, which could indicate that the show would be renewed for two more seasons. For the time being, this is merely an assumption. In the next second season, several of the boys will take their relationships with their girlfriends to new heights. Some have even discovered new love interests, which may lead to confrontations with family members.
